Why everyone is so defensive about blue apron comments? Even if you are a subscriber that shit is stupid.

Hope Blue Apron takes notice of the comments. Post-consumer recycled paper goods, wax, and other compostables look like they will be the way to go for people here. As for me, I'll stick to my own bulk shopping. I prefer my veggies without any packaging.

Blue apron helped me learn to cook healthy. Yes it's a bit pricey and theres a lot of packaging. But if you want to get ideas and learn new cooking skills blue apron is a really good way to start.

Everyone yelling at Blue Apron for the use of plastics... ever heard of recycling?

  • _v.ha
    _v.ha   1 weeks ago

Christ you people act like your grocery store doesn't bag everything in plastic and styrofoam. IIRC Blueapron or Goodfood has a recycling program on their packaging, you just set them out and it gets returned to them where they recycle the packaging.

I made the sheet pan dinner and it was delicious! I used spicy mustard instead of dijon, and my vinegarette looked more liquid than this one, but it turned out great, definitely recommend trying.

Love this channel, Babish. I made the chicken recipe for dinner tonight and it was so damned good. Your Basics series has taken me from eating takeout food to being excited about what I'm going to cook myself for dinner every night. Much thanks!

That chicken stock is the best boxed stuff I have ever had. It tastes like a real roasted chicken.
